    Dorothy Zerio

    DOROTHY ZERIO is director and owner of Dance Inc. She received her ballet training at the Memphis Ballet School in TN where the emphasis of teaching was on the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus. While obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Professional Studies at Memphis State, she danced professionally with the Memphis Ballet. Her scholarships took her to Banff School of Fine Arts in Canada and to the Hartford Ballet School. Studies and performing eventually turned into an interest in teaching. She attended the RAD in London, England and the Hartford Ballet teaching program with focus on the Vaganova Syllabus. While owning Dance Inc for twenty years, she has established herself in NYC among great teachers such as Finis Jhung and invested in a pre-school dance program entitled"Leap n Learn." Presently she is preparing to enroll in the American Ballet Theatre teacher licensing program. She believes that classical ballet provides the best foundation. Although her school offers many forms of dance, ballet is the basis of strength and alignment.
  • Jamie Jackson
    Jamie Jackson

    Jamie Jackson is a New York native raised in Brooklyn. He is currently on the faculty at Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan. He has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Babyface, Stevie Wonder,Praz of the Fugees, Shirley Caesar and P.Diddy. He has been featured in videos including: "All Things"(Fab5) Chabine (Matt) and "99 Problems" (Jay Z)

 

  • Ellen Chyun
    Ashia Myers

    Ashia Myers began her dance training at the San Francisco Ballet School on merit schlarship. She trained for ten years at SFB during which time she was given various opportunities to perform with the main company in roles such as Clara in the Nutcracker and various children's roles in Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet and Swan Lake. She toured to New York to perform at the Lincoln Center with SFB at the age of twelve and performed with the Royal Ballet on their American tour in San Francisco. The past eight years she has spent working in Los Angeles as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. She has worked with Michael Rooney and Rob Marshall and can be seen in the Evanescence music video "Call Me When You Are Sober" and as a dancer in the feature film "Memoris of a Geisha."





  • Rose Zerio
    Rose Zerio

    Rose Zerio, is a former student and guest teacher of Dance. Inc. She is an alumnus of NYC Weist-Barron “ACTeen” program ; student at NYC Guitar School; vocal student of Adrienne Angel (Cher, Bernadette Peters, Joan Jet); studies dance at Joffrey Ballet, Steps on Broadway, and Broadway Dance Center. She has performed in music videos ( Avril Lavigne, and other Indie artists); MTV ; extra and stand-in for TV show “Love Monkey”; filmed a NYC commercial “Cell Charger to Go; extra in movies, including “Spinning Into Butter (Sarah Jessica Parker), Super X Girlfriend (Uma Thurman ); performed in an off-Broadway production (Shirley at the Tropicana): and modeled for fashion, hair and bridal shows. Presently, she is working as a vocal artist and dancer at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City , New Jersey.
  • Blaine Horton
    Corey Hutchins
    Corey is a former member of River Dance and has workshopped and studied with many great tap dancers including Dr. Jimmy Slyde, the late Gragory Hines, Savion Glover and Ernest "Brownie" Brow . He continued his theatre training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Credits include Mark Twain: The Musical, A Christmas Carol and apperarances at the Bushnell Memorial Theater, and Lincoln Center in New York. Recently Corey has been seen on stage at Radio City Music Hall in New Yrk and throughout Japan and Taiwan.
  • Joanna Numata

    Joanna has had the privilege of working with such artists as Beyonce, Kanye West, Rihanna, Fergie, Busta Rhymes, P.Diddy, Nelly, Pharrel, Black Eyed Peas, Dirty Money and Cassie. Her film credits include the feature films Step Up 3D, I am Legend, Friends With Benefits and The Smurfs Move. Some other credits are "The Victoria Secret Fashion Show, "Fashion Rocks, "MTV MMA's", SNL," "Law & Order", Dr. Scholls national commercial, and industrals for L'Oreal, Nexxus, Nike, Adidas, Sobe Lifewater, and Equinox
Annie Ellertsen
Annie Ellertsen

Annie Ellertsen is a graduate of Montclair State University where she received her BFA in Dance.  She has worked on several venues "behind the scenes" assisting Lainie Munro with the Broadway Big Brother/Big Sister Program( affiliated with Broadway Dance Center), and with Jason Marquette & In It For Life Productions on The Next Step, his original choreography showcase.  Some stage credits include Cinderella,(Portia), Evita, and Oliver(Dance Captain).  Currently, she is on the tap and jazz faculty at Cresskill Performing Arts in New Jersey.
